About STAC

The Senior Tenants Advisory Committee (STAC) is an advisory body to Toronto Seniors Housing Corporation (TSHC). Ideally, following this recruitment, STAC will be made up of 24 senior tenants living in one of the 83 TSHC buildings. STAC has a key role in bringing a seniors’ lens to advise TSHC leadership on the development of policies, programs, the Community Connect+ engagement approach, and more.

About This Volunteer Opportunity

As a STAC member, you will be an active participant in at least six meetings per year, providing feedback and advice to TSHC about policies, programs, and issues facing senior tenants. It is a two-year term with a possible one-year extension. A small honorarium (compensation in the form of a gift card) will be provided for participation.

This application is your chance to share why you are a strong candidate to serve as a volunteer on STAC. Your answers should show how your skills and experience fit with the mandate and qualifications of STAC.

Please do not provide any additional materials (e.g., resumes, letters) with your application. Use Part 4 of the application to discuss your qualifications. This information will be used to determine those selected for an interview.
