I am pleased to announce that as of Monday, April 8, 2024, Tom Hunter will be returning as our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Toronto Senior Housing Corporation (TSHC). Jill Bada will be returning to her role at the City as Director, Strategic Policy and Programs. On behalf of the Board of Directors, I want to thank Jill for stepping in as Interim CEO of TSHC while Tom stepped into the role of Interim President and CEO for Toronto Community Housing Corporation (TCHC).
TSHC continued to thrive under Jill’s leadership. The Board appreciates all Jill’s contributions which ensured that we stayed focused on achieving our goals and commitments to tenants and staff through 2023 and into early 2024. We wish Jill all the best as she returns to the City of Toronto.
I am pleased to welcome back Tom as our CEO. His recent work as Interim President and CEO at TCHC will no doubt serve to strengthen the ongoing relationship between our two organizations. We look forward to continuing to deliver on our Interim Strategic Directions for 2024 under Tom’s leadership when he returns.
