Vice-Chair message welcoming new TSHC Board Chair
On behalf of Toronto Seniors Housing, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Fareed Amin as our Chair of the Board of Directors.
With over 30 years of distinguished service in the public sector, Fareed has held progressively responsible positions in the Government of Ontario including Deputy Minister for a number of ministries, including the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing. Fareed also served as Deputy City Manager at the City of Toronto, where he was instrumental in implementing a number of transformation initiatives to improve customer service delivery. Fareed currently leads the Diversity and Inclusion Practice and Chairs the Anti-Racism, Diversity, and Inclusion Advisory Board at Phelps Group.
Fareed joins Toronto Seniors Housing after recently serving as the Board Chair of the Judicial Appointments Advisory Committee. He also serves on a number of Boards in the nonprofit, private and public sectors, including Seneca College, and the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus.
