TSHC Welcomes Melanie Martin
TORONTO, August 24, 2022—The Toronto Seniors Housing Board of Directors has released the following statement:
On January 16, the role of Interim Commissioner of Housing Equity transitioned from Summer Nudel to Melanie Martin.
Summer has made an invaluable contribution to Office of the Commissioner of Housing Equity (OCHE), providing much-needed stability, leadership and guidance during a time of transition.
Melanie has been a part of OCHE since its inception, serving as Senior Advisor since 2017. She has an extensive background in social housing and a deep understanding of the legislative and policy frameworks for social housing. Toronto Seniors Housing Corporation’s tenants will benefit greatly from having Melanie’s housing experience and wealth of historical knowledge in the role of Interim Commissioner of Housing Equity.
